I'm glad you are taking steps to find a counselor who can be a good fit for you or for someone you care for. I believe that to choose to do some therapeutic work is to make a choice for wholeness, a commitment that can enhance your life and all your relationships. I work with individuals and couples. I offer both counseling and in-depth relational therapy. I listen carefully to each client and seek to address what they feel is most important for their future. I strive for results in our work together that are healing and will last.
My work with individuals offers help for feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, discernment during transitional times, trauma or abuse recovery, and relationship difficulties. With couples, I seek to help each increase their capacities to understand and communicate with the other so as to deepen trust and intimacy.
I am a pastoral counselor which means my training has been both in the areas of psychology and theology. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor as well as a Presbyterian Minister. This means that spiritual concerns can be a part of our work together if it is important to you.
