I am fascinated by the human mind as well as how our life experiences impact the people we become. At the same time, I strongly believe that we have the power to be more than the difficult things that have happened to us. Seeking therapy can be intimidating but also incredibly rewarding. I consider it an honor to work with people on their journey to healing and self-improvement. My goal is to provide a supportive environment that is free of judgement.

Find a good pic yet? Looking for a therapist can be stressful enough because most people are unsure how to find the right therapist. The greatest predictor of success in therapy is the strength of the relationship with your counselor. In other words, it’s best to choose someone that you click with because it’s going to be easier for you to trust the process. I’m definitely a straight shooter, and I tell it like it is, but I always have your best interests in mind. I combine evidence-based treatments with talk therapy, and somehow, humor tends to creep in from time to time too.

You're the expert of your own life, and I focus on forming a partnership where we'll combine your knowledge and my expertise to find personalized solutions to your challenges. Life is an ongoing series of changes and adaptations, where we learn to get what we need from our careers, relationships, and personal lives. At times, we may get stuck due to events in our lives we weren't prepared for, and we live with the discomfort of being stuck until we reach a point where we're ready for a radical change into something new. I love working with clients who are at that point of frustration and are ready for a new way of being.

I approach counseling not as someone who “fixes” others, but as a guide who empowers you to recognize the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back from flourishing. Feeling stuck stems from a variety of complex and deeply rooted experiences. Together we will explore those complex experiences that shaped your self perception and life choices.

Most people are surviving life instead of learning how to live it with fulfillment and satisfaction. Stressful experiences accumulate over time and steal our sense of control and hope, which is not fair and not necessary. If you want to regain balance and clarity, we can do that. We will identify themes, triggers, and learn to cope and conquer. If you are willing to work hard and be authentic, you can really make some vast changes. Together we can create more compassion, acceptance, and space for yourself to feel grounded and make meaningful growth.

Life involves stress; it's inevitable. Everyone struggles and needs support, yet many people have not found help. It's hard to figure everything out on our own. You deserve to be listened to objectively, kindly, and without interruption. Sometimes family and friends don't provide help the way we need (or they may make things worse). Psychotherapists can help provide unbiased support and interventions that research shows are pretty darn effective. Though it may not feel like it, lowering stress levels and resolving challenges is not as hard as it may seem. A little guidance could make a big difference!

In life, when we deal with difficult relationships or toxic situations, it causes negative symptoms and stress in ourselves. Carrying this burden is stressful and unnecessary. Often, these symptoms can become permanent habits that are difficult to change. My role is to help you unload stress and replace this with helpful and healing tools, permanently. My approach involves helping you understand ways of maintaining life balance and living a fulfilling life.

Additionally, each person carries various coping skills and resources that need to be utilized, enhanced and incorporated to establish an effective protocal when contending with life's innate struggles and challenges. Seeking therapy that keeps your soul in mind? I work from a broader perspective, to integrate the mind, body, and soul as we work towards wholeness. Simply put, I believe in going beyond coping; after all, no one wants to white-knuckle it through life. I partner with clients to dig deeper into the root of the struggle. I also incorporate unique types of approaches which you may not have heard of before. I bring the whole brain into treatment; not simply the analytical areas that are on-line in traditional talk therapy.
