I want to help people learn about themselves, develop skills to have better relationships, and practice coping skills to help overcome obstacles in life. My goal is to make the therapeutic relationship a safe place for you to share your feelings, explore your relationships, and develop skills to help live a happier, more fulfilling life. I believe open communication and trust within that safe space is the first step to developing healthier relationships in life.

Our identities shape the way we move through the world, influencing our relationships,
experiences, and sense of self. Healing begins when we are seen, heard, and affirmed for who we truly are.
As a therapist, I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where you can explore your story without fear of judgment. My approach is rooted in cultural humility, anti-oppression, and neurodiversity-affirming care. Growing up in a multicultural household, I understand how intersecting identities, family dynamics, and societal expectations can shape our mental health and self-perception.

I work in a collaborative, active way to explore issues and identify ways to more fully lead the life you want. My goal is always to personalize our work together to focus on what you want to accomplish in therapy. Sometimes the work is focused on improving relationships, feeling better and improving your ability to manage feelings of anxiety and/or depression. I’ve always been curious about people’s journeys – their dreams, their trials, and everything in between. For many years, I found myself engaged in the world of finance, working closely with clients from all walks of life. Yet, there was a common thread that caught my attention – the pivotal role that mental health played in their lives.

Many feel overwhelmed by academic pressure, social dynamics, perfectionism, family conflict, identity struggles, or major life transitions and are looking for support, clarity, and confidence.

Across these circumstances, I provide a space for my clients to receive compassionate support that is specific to each individual. I tend to utilize narrative and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support my clients in identifying the thought patterns and behaviors that might have once been helpful but are in need of adjustment.

My counseling philosophy is based on the idea that connection is the most important factor in healing. Getting to know a patient in therapy is an adventure. It’s a journey that often starts at the time of the initial phone conversation. The road takes us through peaks and valleys neither side predicted. I use my personality, mind, and spirit to understand the needs of my clients. These instruments encourage building a relationship in which we can collaborate to reach goals.

Becoming a parent is supposed to be joyful – but for many, it's also disorienting. The postpartum anxiety no one warned you about. The grief that doesn't make sense alongside the joy. The sense that you should be handling this better than you are. Before becoming a therapist, I was a full-spectrum doula – sitting with families through pregnancy, birth, loss, and the early weeks of new parenthood. I witnessed firsthand how little support exists during this vulnerable transition. That experience is the reason I became a therapist at all.
