I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can explore your story without judgment and move toward the goals that matter most to you. I take a holistic approach that combines evidence-based practices with a genuine respect for each person’s unique life experiences. My style is collaborative, empathetic, and grounded in active listening. I also bring in humor when it helps lighten the load and makes the process feel more natural.

Reaching out for help takes courage. It means you’re able to admit that you don’t have all the answers and have the strength to acknowledge you’re struggling. It’s ok if you don’t know where to begin. We can start with where you are and together work toward where you want to be. I view therapy as an integrative and collaborative process that is grounded in the human capacity for change. The goal of our therapeutic alliance is to develop insight and transformative growth to allow for healing, resulting in a more enriched and abundant life. I believe it is during our most vulnerable moments that we are most open to insight and change

I am passionate about helping others help themselves. I see my role as your therapist as a guide in gaining insights into the challenges you are experiencing. I will assist in providing tools and education. With new found insights you will be able to start implementing proactive steps to be the best version of yourself. My goal is to assist you in recognizing and activating your own internal resources for healing, so you may begin to recognize your experiences as opportunities to learn and grow from rather than challenges or obstacles. My goal is for my clients to find purpose and meaning to every aspect of their lives.

Hi there, you are probably reading through many profiles so I'll be brief. I primarily work with some of the more complex cases in therapy and psychological diagnostics. At our practice, we specialize in what's called differential diagnosis, or in other words, cracking the code of someone's symptoms or stressed relationships, then identifying best ways to support that individual or relationship. Our website can explain more but I promised to keep it brief. Best of luck in finding the right therapist for you!

Are you a mom or dad who is overwhelmed by worry, frustration, exhaustion, sleepless nights, and burnout Maybe you’ve been pushing through, but things aren’t getting better. If you're ready for change and are tired of your stress, anxiety, and frustration, therapy can help. I thrive when helping children and parents work together to find solutions and stop the unhelpful cycles they feel stuck in. I help dads feel more confident, less anxious, and more connected to themselves and their family. I provide play therapy for children (and parent coaching) so they can develop the skills to feel more confident, connected, and calm.

I became a therapist because, during my time as a nurse, I saw how many people were struggling emotionally and mentally. They needed someone to listen and help them heal. I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, women, and couples.

My idea of an ideal client is one who is brave enough to ask for help. We are not born with innate problem solving skills in all areas of life. Every one of us is unique and have different experiences and outlooks on life. When there is a lack of cohesion in ones life or struggles in relationships, emotional issues, we may need to reach out to a professional for guidance. Even clients who are less than cooperative or unwilling to engage in therapy can be helped with a good therapist. I can provide that guidance and help you be the best "you" you can be. We've only got one life to live. The goal is, to live it well!

Therapy is strange. That might sound like an odd thing to start with, but I wanted to be honest. Even I can admit that the entire idea of talking to a total stranger about one’s struggles seems strange sometimes. But at the same time, that’s often what people have done throughout history; going to their loved ones for support, talking to their Barber or Bartender, or even talking to a member of their Religious institution. There is just something inherently helpful when you sit down and talk to someone about what is going on in your life. What I try to do is provide a safe space for people to do just that.

Sometimes life makes it feel like there are limited options, and our feelings can be overwhelming. However, in the face of pain and suffering, we have the power to choose how to engage with these hardships. There is freedom to choose our responses, and moving forward with committed action is empowering. We would be happy to collaborate with you in the therapeutic process, to explore feelings, learning coping skills, and maintain healthy responses. In life we may feel content being still, making lateral moves, or at times pivoting. As we navigate your views of self, thriving, living we can face carpe diem, seize the day.

I’ve come to really value what good counseling can do, and I want to offer that same kind of support to the people I work with. I have experience helping people through Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Substance Use Disorder, trauma, stress, and seasons of crisis. I also work with individuals and families who are trying to navigate life changes and the everyday ups and downs that come with them.
