Do you find that life's struggles have you down more than usual? Hi, I am the owner of Sandstone Counseling Services, LLC. I have a Master's in Social Work, and am a licensed clinician. Throughout schooling and work in the field, I have worked with everyone from hospice patients, "SED" (seriously emotionally disturbed) youth, schools, foster children, adults, and families. I have also done an abundance of custody work in Yellowstone County over the past 20+ years. I work with a variety of individuals ages 10 and up. I believe in meeting people where they are and working our way through whatever brings them to my office.
I have 8+ years post licensure, 2+ years of intensely supervised work, and 2 years of practicum; during which, I worked in CSCT (Comprehensive School and Community-based Treatment), Day Treatment, Hospice, and Residential Treatment. I have had the pleasure of working with children, adults, and families. I am a member of the NASW, NAMI, and AFCC.
I continue to work on my skills as a DBT clinician (doing skills building during individual sessions with guidance from the Linehan Institute). I also continue to explore many more treatment models to stay current with best practice for my clients to the best of my ability. I also work closely with the LGBTQ+ community and believe in gender affirming care.
