Hello there! If you're looking for a dynamic therapist with over 20 years of experience working nationally in a variety of settings, including outpatient hospitals, crisis, schools, and wilderness, who brings humor, compassion, and lived experience to session, then I may be a good fit for you! Whether supporting people through difficult life transitions, processing family struggles, or offering parenting support, my practice is deeply rooted in a mindfulness-based, client-centered and integrative approach. I know how strong the healing power of the client-therapist relationship can be if it is grounded in mutuality and respect.

I believe each of us already holds the keys to our highest good. I have helped a range of people, men, women, teens, and members of the LGBTQ community, examine their lives from new perspectives and discover new solutions. Getting to the root of the problem is key to transformation (not just managing symptoms).

I see therapy as a creative, collaborative process. I seek to join my clients (individuals and couples) in coming up with helpful solutions to ease their struggles and bring more joy back into their lives. We walk together through the fog in search of pockets of sunshine. I strive to not only see my clients’ emotional health, but also their physical, spiritual, and relational health, looking to each for clues that might hold healing. I am innately curious, compassionate, and focused on my clients’ strengths. We’ll move at your pace, with authenticity, and might even have a little fun along the way.

You're driven, capable, and used to pushing through and but lately something feels off. Anxiety before big moments. Second-guessing yourself when it counts. Questioning who you are outside the role everyone expects you to play. I work with teens and young adults. Athletes and high achievers who are struggling in ways that aren't always visible. We untangle self-worth from results, build confidence that holds under pressure, and figure out who you are beyond what you achieve. Currently accepting new clients in Duluth and virtually across Minnesota.

I believe we all desire to be seen heard and respected. Often when people are seeking therapy a boundary has been crossed or trust has been broken. These hurts likely caused anger, upset, or uprooted relationships. Depending on the level of loss or stress at first there maybe not even be words for what is feeling 'off.' The hardest part maybe reaching out for help. It can be important to trust an instinct that says "I think I need help." I have spent many years helping people right after everything fell apart. I want to help people develop more compassion for themselves and build resiliency skills to help them live authentically.

I believe therapy can benefit everyone, no matter their background or circumstances. My passion lies in supporting individuals as they work through the parts of life that no longer serve them and move toward a more authentic, fulfilling way of living. I hold a deep belief that every person is worthy of the life they desire—and it’s my privilege to help clients uncover what that looks like and take steps toward achieving it. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s needs.
