My ideal client is an older adolescent (ages 16+) or adult who feels out of alignment with themselves or their life. They may be experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or other mental health challenges, and often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why things feel harder than they should. Many are navigating life transitions and are seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore thoughts and emotions, gain clarity, and develop practical tools for growth. Their goal is to feel more grounded, emotionally regulated, and aligned in how they show up in their lives.

I enjoy working with clients who have experienced trauma, specifically relational trauma. It is rewarding to help clients understand how their attachment style was formed, how it impacts them as adults, and how to develop healthier ways of relating in this world.

Albert Einstein remarked, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving”. At various times in our life we find ourselves challenged to do just that as we struggle to make it through the day. Using a strengths-based perspective, I will collaborate with you to understand and confront your unique challenges and empower you to find the inner strength and resources to facilitate positive healing change so you can keep moving forward. I firmly believe that while change is inevitable, being paralyzed by change is not and you have the power to construct your own unique pathway to optimal health and wellness.

I absolutely love what I do. I count it as an honor and privilege to be able to sit with my clients and talk about the deeper and bigger things in life. I like to work collaboratively with my clients and look at the big picture to see what is possible for their lives. I like to work with clients who are stuck but motivated, down but hopeful, anxious but brave, who are creative, and committed to their own care.

Is your child navigating intense emotions? Are you feeling overwhelmed by countless blog posts on the ‘right’ ways to support them? Maybe your child is experiencing some of the many stressors of growing up—transitioning to kindergarten, moving from elementary to middle school, getting in trouble at school, making and keeping friends, dealing with fears like the dark or monsters, handling separation from you, welcoming a new sibling, or facing other family challenges. Starting therapy can feel daunting and uncomfortable; I understand. It’s not easy to be vulnerable or to entrust someone with your child’s well-being.

I work with adult individuals (25+) and partners in relationships who are emotionally attuned but often exhausted—due to chronic overfunctioning, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from their own feelings and needs. Many carry relational wounds, identity pain, and/or the fearful beliefs that they are “too much” or “not enough”. My deepest calling is to support people in reclaiming the parts of themselves that have never felt fully seen, understood, or celebrated. I believe healing begins in spaces where we can slow down, feel safe enough to be witnessed in our rawness, and build more honest connections—with others and within.

You don’t have to carry this alone. Healing is possible — and together, I can help you move from surviving to truly thriving.
Life can feel heavy at times. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, it’s easy to lose sight of hope. I believe that no matter what you were born into, or the hardships and pain you’ve experienced along the way, growth and healing are always possible. The process isn’t always easy — it can be messy, uncomfortable, and take courage — but meaningful change is within reach.

“Get comfortable being uncomfortable.” This mindset allows us to embrace challenges, recognizing that they do not define who we are. Instead of avoiding or being overwhelmed by the obstacles in life, we can use them as opportunities for growth and take control of our lives. By facing these challenges head-on, we gain the power to reshape our narrative and create a better future.

I believe that therapy can greatly help with coping skills, with dealing with long- standing problems; and with stress and pain management. During COVID, many people have been focused on day to day issues relating to depression, anxiety, and PTSD; and are trying to cope with these in the best possible way. All types of mood disorders, anxiety, chronic pain and illness, and transitions feel more pressing. Some months I have not been able to accept new patients due to high demand for services and a full waiting list; other months I am able to accept 1-2 new patients.
