I believe strongly in the power of human resilience and believe our relationships are a key factor in this. As a marriage and family therapist, I enjoy working with adults, couples and families. I have experience working in a treatment setting for chemical dependency and complex trauma, where I gained experience in using somatic approaches such as EMDR Accelerated Resolution Therapy and inner child work to help individuals overcome childhood wounds to be more present and functional in their current lives and relationships. I am also an AAMFT approved supervisor and with current openings for individual, dyad or group supervision.
In addition, I have experience assisting individuals in working through grief and loss, general life transitions, anxiety and depression. I appreciate the uniqueness that each individual brings to therapy and believe the therapeutic journey, despite its challenges, can also be a fun and rewarding experience.
