I work with women who are outgrowing survival mode. They are ready to stop performing a version of themselves and figure out who they are underneath everything they've been told to be. They want to lead from a calm, grounded place by trusting their emotions, listening to their body, and building relationships that feel safe and real. They're ready to do the deeper work and remember who they are.

Openings for online clients! I specialize in helping people who feel they are not “enough” or should be different or perfect. They often feel invisible, unappreciated, and are in "toxic" or even narcissistic relationships. Do you give your kindness and compassion to others but not yourself? If you're willing to feel all the feelings and be vulnerable, you can challenge the "shoulds" in your mind and learn to accept and celebrate your authentic self. You can correct unhealthy relationship patterns (even with yourself), assert good boundaries, and practice self-compassion. Life is hard enough without you being so hard on yourself!

From the outside, you look completely put together and on-top of it: showing up for work, parenting, answering emails, doing “all the things.” But inside, you’re exhausted. You’re constantly overthinking, second-guessing, and running on fumes. You might wonder if ADHD or Autism is part of the picture or if you’re just burned out from juggling too much for too long. You don't have to struggle alone.

Asking for support during difficult times can often feel vulnerable and intimidating. It can also feel hopeful. As a Clinical Psychologist, I have spent the past 15 years working with children, adolescents, & adults who are struggling with anxiety/stress, depression, behavioral issues, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), coping with chronic medical conditions, & adjustment / transition issues (e.g., transition to college). Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work in hospitals, specialty medical clinics, and community mental health.

You've built a life that looks like success from the outside. And yet - you're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You're functioning, but something is off underneath. Maybe you're a healthcare provider who spends your days holding space for others, quietly wondering who holds space for you. Maybe you're an executive or high-performer who has optimized every area of your life except this one. You're ready to stop managing symptoms and start getting to the root.

As a Clinical Social Worker with 30 years experience, my treatment philosophy is based in partnering with my clients in identifying and addressing their needs in ways that are relevant to them. I encourage a dialogue in which I meet the client wherever they might be emotionally and spiritually and then together, we explore the issues that led them to therapy in the first place. My job is to create a space in which my client feels safe to say things they may be afraid to say to others and to feel emotions that seem overwhelming elsewhere.

Truth: The less you plan your life around shy bladder syndrome, the more your life will improve. Right now, you rearrange your entire day to cater to paruresis; you avoid basically anything that involves being away from home so long that you’ll need to use a public restroom. When you do try to go in public, you often psych yourself out. Your world has gotten pretty small & you’re missing out on many things you enjoy. You’ve lived in shame & secrecy for years. You might have tried therapy or DIY solutions but you're left wondering why nothing is working. It's not that you haven't planned enough, DIY'ed enough or tried enough therapy.

Do you find yourself holding it together on the outside while feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or quietly self-critical on the inside? Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply responsible, yet feel overwhelmed by pressure, overthinking, relationship stress, or the constant sense that they should be coping better than they are. You may be tired of managing everything alone and looking for therapy that helps you understand not just your symptoms, but the deeper patterns underneath them.

Defining oneself and discovering your own inner truth in the face of adversity is challenging. I can say from personal experience that psychotherapy was immensely helpful on that journey. One of my goals in life is to pay it forward by joining others on their quest.
