I am here to help you grow into a happier, healthier person, and I want you to look forward to coming to therapy. Many of my specialty areas relate to anxiety including social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, OCD, trich, and tics. I am one of only a few clinicians in the area certified to treat OCD. I also work with the LGBTQ+ population and provide support before, during, and after gender-affirming transition. I love working with couples, adults, and adolescents and with women before, during, and after pregnancy to address their unique mental health needs (pre and postpartum depression, OCD, and anxiety).
I'm honored to have people entrust me with their care in the best and worst of times. I use feminist-informed therapy, Exposure-Based CBT, and ERP (exposure and response prevention), but I also find humor goes a long way. I try not to take myself too seriously and want you to feel comfortable doing the same. .
I am often told how down-to-earth I am, and people are pleasantly surprised with how comfortable they feel after just one session with me. I really value a strong client-therapist relationship, want you to know I am free from judgement of you, and make a point to include you in every decision from the beginning to the end of treatment.
