I am excited to offer you an opportunity to use resources such as Brainspotting, a newer form of approaching traumatic stress and dissociative adaptations, to heal your mind and help you feel more grounded. This innovative approach to healing involves minimal intervention from me as your therapist so that your mind can dig deep and work through rewiring itself from trauma or heal from physical or mental pain.

Very few of us were given the tools and affirmation needed to navigate sex, despite it being a fundamental part of our humanity. I am a sex therapist passionate about reducing sexual shame, fostering a lens of curiosity and self-acceptance in sexuality, building a sense of playfulness and confidence, developing a personal acumen of sexual values, and unlearning messages of sex-negative cultures. I approach therapy from a relational, psychodynamic perspective, which means seeking to understand patterns that shape emotions, thoughts, and behavior and how these things have been influenced by our history, culture, and experiences.

Stress leaves us overwhelmed, worried, and feeling stuck. You may be sick of feeling nervous in everyday situations, tired of over analyzing, and feeling like you are not doing enough. You might not remember a time when things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You’re ready to feel confident in yourself without feeling worried. You want to find strategies to understand what you are experiencing so you can feel more peace. Most of all, you’re ready to find more enjoyment in life without the worry holding you back.

I firmly believe that treatment is not a one size fits all approach, and that each individual client deserves individualized treatment that meets their specific needs and goals. I like to meet my clients where they are at and help them find their true potential. It is important to build a healthy trusting therapeutic relationship with each of my clients.
