All you’ve ever wanted to be is yourself, at peace in your own skin. But something's keeping you from that. It may be other people. It could be trauma from the past. Or it might be life changes that you struggle to adjust to. Do you walk on eggshells because people in your life insist that you should be someone other than who you are? Do triggers in the present drag you back THERE...to traumatic moments you've wanted to leave behind? Or do you feel overwhelmed by changes over the last several months or years...either in your personal life or in the world around you?

I have a deep desire to walk with people on their journey towards healing and flourishing and I strive to meet every person wherever they are on that journey. I operate from the belief that every single person is fundamentally good and my goal is to help each person understand, embrace, and live out the good in themselves.

I work best with clients who have some motivation and readiness for change—those who are willing to give therapy a shot and engage in the process of growth and healing. My clients are often individuals struggling with difficult moods, intense emotions, or the lasting impact of trauma. Many are navigating life transitions or current challenges that feel overwhelming or hard to move through.
I also support people who experience emotions that come on suddenly or intensely, have difficulty with impulse control, or struggle with a negative sense of self. Some find it hard to understand or express their emotions, while others are learning

Many of the people I work with look successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or exhausted by patterns that keep repeating in their lives and relationships. They may struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, cultural expectations, or difficulty navigating major life transitions. Together, we explore not only what is happening now, but also the experiences, relationships, and coping strategies that shaped it. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-understanding, stronger relationships, and a clearer path forward.

I begin with the belief that everyone is perfectly imperfect rather than the notion that there is something "wrong" with you which needs to be "fixed". Starting the moment you were born you began to accumulate experiences from your family, community, and society. Some experiences were likely nurturing and beautiful and others were likely quite painful and challenging. Your accumulated experiences have shaped you and helped you develop mechanisms for coping, some of which no longer serve you.

Many people ask me, "Why would I want to feel my feelings?” Whether you are constantly staring at a screen, filling every space on your calendar to avoid being alone with your thoughts, putting on a new mask for every person you encounter, or using alcohol as "social lubricant" to quiet the noise, many of us have mastered the art of avoidance. Some of us neatly tuck our feelings away, trading our emotions for a nicely organized life with lots of explanations and justifications, while others stuff the jumbled up mess under the bed.

Intimacy is often a difficult topic to talk about, but one that affects many individuals and relationships. I also use techniques and approaches from sport psychology to help athletes improve their perfomances. My role is to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Together we will collaborate to create realistic, attainable goals and a therapy plan that is the best fit for you. Being a systemically trained therapist means that I look not only at who is sitting in front of me, but all of the things affecting you, and how those impact your experiences and interactions. Evening appointments available.

Change can be hard. It can be scary, overwhelming, and can produce fears. It is different than what we know, different than what things are like today. Change happens no matter what; it is the one constant that we all experience.

Let's be real. Trauma is, well, traumatizing and can truly impact your everyday functions. I use the visual of trauma being paper crumpled into balls in a bucket. When you close your eyes and imagine that, how full is your bucket? Most say that its overflowing already, so one minor life change feels like overwhelming doom, because your buckets already full. I help those I see work through that bucket, processing each crumple of paper to fold neatly back into the bucket. Once the trauma has been worked through you have the space to deal with new situations as they come. I would love to help you work on your bucket!
