Terry Teipner, MS, LPC, LMFT-IT has a Master's Degree in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health emphasis) and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I utilize research based approaches in working with adults, children and families including person centered therapy, family systems therapy, solution focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. We serve a wide variety of patients including individuals with high risk behaviors, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, chronic mental health concerns, traumatic experiences, and behavioral difficulties. In addition to therapy and counseling services, we offer Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse assessments and treatment, psychological assessments, and a full-fidelity Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program.

After completing graduate studies/ Marriage and Family Therapist training, I entered private practice. I provide training on Problem Gambling and specialize in trauma and addictive-compulive behaviors. It is a gift and a mission to be able to help people attain their life goals. Accepting New Short-term (6-months or less) Clients. Entering therapy can be one of the most important things that you can do for yourself. I also realize for some people, it is the scariest thing they could do. My promise to you is that I will provide you a nonjudgmental place to sort out whatever you bring to our space and time. As an Adlerian therapist, I believe therapy is a collaborative process; it is two people working together to solve a problem. Therapy can be hard work, but I have a strong belief in the use of humor to facilitate the process and to sometimes just take a much needed break.
