Hi, I’m Megan, (she/they), a queer and ADHD therapist who understands what it’s like to feel out of sync in systems that were never built for us. I work with adults and teens navigating trauma, identity exploration, anxiety, shame, burnout, and emotional overwhelm with a deep respect for your lived experience and neurotype.
As someone who has experienced trauma, I offer a space where you don’t have to mask, explain, or shrink yourself. You're not broken you’re whole as you are.
Outside the therapy room, I’m usually camping, hiking, or hanging out with my dogs being in nature is one of my favorite ways to reset and reconnect.

Hi there, thanks for visiting. I hope my intro helps you feel seen, hopeful and gives some insight into how we might walk together. Has traditional therapy felt more like learning to manage instead of experiencing transformation? Do you have experiences where life feels really aligned and clicking and desire to live from that place more often and more fully.
I offer trauma informed therapy to help you identify and gently step out of stuck cycles, allow and process emotions, and move towards what feels authentic and true for your unique self.

It's normal to need help. If you're reading this, you already have the courage to make meaningful change in your life, and I would be honored to walk alongside you. While I have many tools to offer from my professional training, and I steep my practice in evidence-based and trauma-informed treatments like CBT, ACT, ERP, and others, I believe that in the context of a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, and supported, you have the power to heal and reach your full potential.

I believe healing happens through connection, safety, and the courage to explore your inner world. My practice is grounded in a relational, eclectic and radical approach. With this, and my training in EMDR, I specialize in supporting women who’ve experienced trauma, including childhood trauma and relational wounds.
I approach my work with a deep awareness of how intersectional identities shape the way trauma is experienced, held in the body, and processed over time. Trauma doesn’t happen in a vacuum, but rather, unfolds within systems and relationships that impact how we adapt to learn to survive.

Taking the first step is acknowledging we need help navigating the things life throws at us. It is not easy and certainly can feel overwhelming. If you are looking for support and ways to challenge yourself become a better version of what you want to become you are looking in the right place. Challenge yourself to think differently and experience ways to handle stressors unlike before. There are going to be moments in life where we need compassion, empathy, and support. I work with those who experience depression, anxiety, and grief and I strive to create a non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your story.

I’m Whitney, they/them, I'm trans, and I’m a therapist :)
I show up to therapy as a fellow human to get to know you and be part of your growth. My practice as a therapist has grown through the lens of Infant Mental Health which emphasizes the role of relationships and play in healing. Within a caring relationship we can find the strength to tell our story, feel our feelings, and connect to the parts of ourselves we’re afraid of. I particularly like working with queer people of all ages to help them love and care for the babies inside them.

One of the most important things for me is a clinician is that we are addressing the needs and goals of the client, that means that nobody else’s agenda is going to be prioritized. That also means that identifying those needs and goals will be the foundation of the work and what we go back to if we get lost and what we might change if movement is stunted. While there is not any prep work I would ask prior to a session, I would encourage any prospective clients to consider what they would like to accomplish in therapy. I offer intensive EMDR sessions (3-8 hours) and am currently able to schedule clients for intensive sessions.

Life’s challenges can leave you feeling anxious, disconnected, resentful, and wondering how to move forward.
I specialize in supporting those who spend their lives caring for others, including healthcare professionals, parents, therapists, and family caregivers. If you're used to putting others' needs first, therapy offers a compassionate space to process your experiences, navigate challenges, and learn to care for yourself with the same dedication you give to others.

I work with clients ages 8 and up. In my core, I believe everyone deserves to feel joyful, connected, and safe while being their authentic self. So many things can make that difficult and keep us from deeply connecting with ourselves and others. If you, or your child, are struggling with the impact of stress, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma, or if you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, you are in the right place. I have worked with many ADHD, Autistic, and LGBTQ+ children, teens, and adults and this continues to be my passion.

I believe that many of our patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving make sense given our context and experiences. I encourage clients to explore their past and present in order to better understand which patterns work for them and which they'd like to adjust. By tailoring interventions to each person’s strengths and interests, I help clients build new skills and insights for managing life’s stressors. I also incorporate mindfulness and movement practices based on client need and interest.
