Our lives are full of changes, struggles, and great joys. It is during the times when we are experiencing a variety of family or personal struggles that we need someone to listen, offer resources & alternative points of view while we challenge ourselves to grow. I work with men and women of all ages and disorders. I have more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents specifically & I also enjoy working with athletes and sports-minded individuals. I co-own Trio Wellspace in Holland where mental, physical and emotional health are supported.

Something is keeping you stuck — and part of you already knows it. Maybe it’s a pattern of intrusive thoughts you can’t shake, a wound that keeps showing up in your relationships, a secret you’ve been carrying alone, or a spiritual crisis that’s left you unmoored. Whatever brought you here, I believe your story holds the roadmap. Our symptoms, our struggles, our relationships — they’re not random. They’re pointing somewhere. And if we can approach them with curiosity, presence, and compassion, they can lead us toward insight, wholeness, and healing.

By the time I was 24, I had been diagnosed with OCD, PTSD, depression, anxiety disorder & panic disorder. I intimately know the affliction of mental health struggles. After years of lived personal experience with trauma & a myriad of diagnoses; a two decades long healing journey involving seeing over 50 different practitioners and tens of thousands of dollars; countless hours of training; and 2 master's degrees, I have honed an approach to therapy that weaves ancient wisdom, contemporary neuroscience, and compassionate inquiry into a tapestry of healing.

I specialize in helping people who are tired of being everything to everyone, couples who can’t seem to stop arguing about “nothing,” and "everything," trauma and/or anxiety that just seems to keep coming up, and children who swear they don’t need/want therapy, but secretly appreciate talking to someone who is not their parents' for an hour.
My therapy style is down-to-earth, collaborative, and infused with just enough humor to make the hard stuff feel a little lighter. I am here to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and how healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

Working through challenging chapters of our story can lead us to question the understanding we have of ourselves and our place in the world, making our grasp on hope feel messy and tenuous. As a counselor, I will step into your story gently and walk alongside, as you pick up the broken pieces, examine them, and explore paths toward hope and healing. I specialize in working with older teens and adults working through anxiety, relational challenges, trauma, and parenting concerns. I have experience and interest working with parents, adoptees, medical sponders, and clients facing domestic violence and abuse or chronic illness and pain.

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! You may be feeling anxious and caught in patterns of people pleasing, perfectionism, or burnout, wanting to feel more confident in yourself and your relationships but not knowing how to get there. You might be struggling to find your voice, set boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by expectations and the pressure to keep everyone else happy, exhausted from white-knuckling your way through life. Over time, it can feel like you’re stuck in cycles of self doubt and second guessing, unsure why these patterns keep showing up.
