Starting therapy can be a big and vulnerable step, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to reach out. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or relationship patterns that feel hard to break, you're not alone. I strive to create a space that feels warm, safe, and collaborative. Therapy is a relationship between equals, and I see myself as a fellow traveler - walking alongside you as we build insight, resilience, and self-compassion together.

Hi, I’m She’Hetia. I support teens and adults navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, identity exploration, mood regulation, self-doubt, trauma, and the quiet weight of feeling unseen in systems not built with them in mind. Over time, these experiences can shape how we see ourselves, wear down our confidence, and pull us further from who we truly are. Whether you’re stepping into therapy for the first time or returning after a pause, it’s completely natural to feel unsure of where to begin. Here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Welcome to my profile. I applaud you for taking the first big step to seek out a therapist that you feel is the best fit. I believe that at some point in our lives, most people could benefit from receiving some additional support - especially from an outside perspective that focuses on only you. As beautiful and exciting as life can be, it can also be extremely challenging and overwhelming. There are many things in our lives that we cannot control, however, there are things that we do have control over which are the parts that I feel are important to work through together in therapy.

Therapy saved my life. After experiencing years of interpersonal relationship abuse and a lifetime of religious trauma, therapy helped pull me from an incredibly dark place and give my life purpose and direction again. In 2019 I decided to pursue a master’s in social work so that I could help others experience hope, maybe for the first time. If you are struggling with the feelings of hopelessness and loss after leaving your religion, estrangement from your family of origin, or having difficulty navigating normal daily life after experiencing trauma, I want to help. I help those with PTSD as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

As a daughter of immigrants, I am familiar with the struggles of feeling like an outsider, facing ongoing acculturation, as well as the stress and anxiety that comes with resettlement and starting over. I strive to normalize therapy and make it accessible to anyone struggling with their cultural or personal identity, including the immigrant community and anyone seeking therapy for the first time. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable with someone new is often one of the most challenging aspects of starting therapy. There is a stigma associated with seeking professional help for mental health in many communities.

Neurodivergent and LGBTQIA2S+ teens and adults often come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others—especially when complex trauma is part of the picture. I provide a warm, affirming, and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and take meaningful steps toward change. Many of my clients come to therapy not only seeking relief from distress, but also a deeper sense of self, connection, and clarity about who they are and how they want to live.

You had no idea being an adult would be so hard. You thought you’d be having fun with your friends and experiencing life for the first time. Instead, anxiety, ADHD, or trauma has left you feeling overwhelmed, insecure, and lost. You’re fed up with life feeling so impossible. You’re ready to feel more confident. You’re ready for life to be more manageable. Most of all, you’re ready to get a plan together so that you can build the kind of life you've been hoping for.

What situation qualifies for counseling? My answer to that is being human. Many believe that counseling is only necessary for major life events. The truth is you do not have to be on the high end of the stress spectrum to seek professional support. Life can be hard. Counseling provides a supportive and nonjudgmental space to process all circumstances.
