I am well versed in treating children, adolescents and adults in both individual and family therapy settings. I have considerable experience in assisting individuals and family members confront issues associated with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma and other mood disorders that may be affecting an individual's life at home, school or at work. Specific areas of expertise include divorce, adoption, behavioral issues and relationship issues.

I have worked extensively with kids and teens throughout my career. I take a family systems approach to address these issues and I spend a lot of time with parents, helping them to understand to source of the issues and to develop practical strategies for managing behavioral challenges.

I understand attending therapy can be very difficult for some people. I tend to use humor to confront sensitive topics and I spend a great deal of time developing a positive, trusting relationship with my clients to assist them find pragmatic solutions to the issues bringing them to treatment.
