It is my privilege to witness your grief, to explore your experience of love and loss and to sit with you in your pain...seeking ways to bear the unbearable. By tending to our feelings, we begin to remember our dear one with more joy than pain.
As a certified Compassionate Bereavement Care counselor, I offer support during a time that often feels scary, surreal, chaotic and heartbreaking. With practice, you build muscle to carry the burden of grief and to manage this new way of being.
Avoidance of difficult feelings impacts health, work and personal relationships so it's important that they are expressed and validated.
