As a practicing therapist for over 20s years, I pride myself on helping those who need guidance and a listening ear in times of difficulty. Acknowledging that it takes courage to reach for help and begin therapy, I hope to lessen the intimidating and overwhelming process as an experienced therapist. I work primarily with adolescents and adults on issues ranging from depression and anxiety to more specific trauma related concerns. I will work also to hear your needs as we walk alongside each other through the counseling process.
For those struggling with anxiety, I have specialization in anxiety disorders more specifically: OCD, Panic Disorders, and Separation Anxiety. My work; however, is not limited to anxiety and depression. I have extensive training in trauma and self-harm. Additionally, I work children and adolescents who present with behavioral difficulties including: ODD, ADHD, and ADD.
My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while incorporating other theoretical perspectives such as: Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
