Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma are just a few of the areas of focus in my practice. It is my belief that no individual should face mental health challenges alone. Trained therapists can help clients overcome the challenges that seem insurmountable and may decrease their ability to enjoy life, set and achieve goals, and look forward to a brighter future.
I specialize in grief and loss, dementia, end-of-life issues, trauma, and other severe mental health conditions. In light of my specialization in Gerontology, my practice focuses on adults, age 21 and older. I have a vested interest in older adults and years of caregiving with my own family members.
My belief that everyone deserves love, respect, and access to "a helping hand and a listening ear" during times of distress is the motivating force that led me to a career in mental health counseling. I am a certified End-of-life Care Planner and Chronic Pain Management coping skills facilitator.
