My first consultation (30 minutes) is free so together we may decide what would be most helpful for you, to assess your needs, and determine what is best. For many lifestyle coaching or consulting is often best for those who want to improve life or problem solve as opposed to treatment for a diagnosable condition; while others may benefit more from counseling for concerns with anxiety, grief, or depression. Having spent many years in teaching and practice in metro Lou, I may also recommend colleagues who may be more helpful.
I've worked with individuals and families for 40 years. I am a Certified Psychoanalyst, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and Clinical Fellow, a LCAC (IN), and past professor of marriage and family therapy, pastoral counseling, and psychoanalysis. I accept self paying clients and some insurance. I only accept Medicaid in Indiana.
Life is full of challenges and many people do not believe they need psychotherapy. I provide consulting/coaching for individuals wanting to make positive changes in their lives, and hope that I may be of benefit to anyone seeking understanding and help.
