Find Your Way is a counseling practice helping kids ages 12-19 who are trying to navigate their way through difficult times. I focus on kids struggling with anxiety and depression. Stressors can come from issues with family/parents, peers/social media, school, sports, college preparation, self-esteem and gender and sexual identity. When kids are overloaded with life’s worries and it is not managed in a healthy manner, it can lead to anxiety and depression.I want to be able to provide them with tools they can use to help them reduce, eliminate or cope with their concerns and worries that leads to their depression and anxiety.
I believe when kids are heard without fear, judgement, or shame they are able to open up and strive to make changes. I combine my experience, creativity and sense of humor with a down to earth, realistic, client centered approach. I want kids to use our time together as a means to help them gain coping skills and insight into how they think, feel and behave.
