I partner with individuals and families as they make sense of their past, develop tools for healing and growth, and find their voice to reach their full potential. In our work together, we gain an understanding of life’s journey and how it impacts them mentally, emotionally, behaviorally, spiritually, and physically. We focus on improving overall wellbeing and walking in a more balanced life. Together, we strengthen relationships that matter most and create space for peace, connection, and lasting change. Currently, I have daytime hours only between 9 and 4 Tue, Wed, and Friday.

To understand ourselves—and to be understood by others—isn’t that what most of us want? When clients reach out for help, they are often carrying stress from work, family & relationship strain (including limited or no-contact dynamics), mental/physical health concerns, or the growing pressure of the world around them. I ensure a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel valued and encouraged to explore their experiences, express their emotions, and develop new coping strategies that foster resilience. I help people manage symptoms related to ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression.

My ideal therapy situation is working with a client who is hoping to explore options to resolve circumstances that are causing them pain and discomfort. This will undoubtedly involve personal change, so a willingness to look at self and the courage to take steps to move forward are necessary. Recognizing how difficult this can be, therapy requires a safe and brave space allowing the client to practice vulnerability which leads to openness to change. My person-centered approach places the client in the “driver’s seat”, allowing them to set the pace but with guidance and support to push forward.

Through life’s ups and downs, it is crucial for people to be seen, heard, and understood. It is through this validation that my goal is to be a consistent, constant support system for my clients through the ebbs and flows-good and bad. My contribution as a therapist is to provide a safe space for individuals to learn about themselves, explore their minds and hearts, and to challenge themselves when necessary. As for my approach, I often utilize Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as incorporating mindfulness techniques into treatment plans. I also integrate an eclectic approach to tailor to my clients needs.

Patients tell me that one of my biggest strengths is that I really listen very closely to them. It is extremely important for patients to feel seen and heard. The more closely I listen, the better I can focus on what is important to the patient and what symptoms I should target. I also work to introduce supplemental materials such as short stories, poems, art, and music into treatment plans as they can help patients relate to other people with similar conditions. I work to create a very relaxed atmosphere that allows us to communicate clearly with each other.

You know the dates. Every positive test, every loss, every appointment that didn't bring the answer you hoped for. The grief from the pregnancy that ended too soon - the one no one understood was a real loss and has nowhere to land. People say, "At least it was early," and you nod, because explaining would cost more than you have. The waiting has its own kind of weight: the two-week wait, the next cycle, the baby shower you still showed up to. You are carrying something heavy and invisible. You are exhausted from doing it alone.
