As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) I feel it's important to empower clients by giving them the tools to meet their personal goals. Throughout life we go through life experiences where we may feel powerless or not in control, but we do have control over how we cope or react to life circumstances. By offering a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental place to guide clients through their healing process I hope to inspire confidence and the innate resiliency that I believe is in each of us.
I use a variety of therapeutic techniques including creative and hands on interventions tailored to meet individual needs. I have experience in various counseling settings with children, adolescents, and adults. Some of my focus areas include; behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, stress management, communication and social skills.
