Hello thank you for reaching out! Whether you are just thinking about counseling, wondering if it could help you, or ready to take the next step in your mental health wellness. I would love to work with you and get to know you. I believe so many of us are not experiencing relationships where we feel heard and supported, whether that is our family, our spouses or our friends. Many times anxiety, depression and other pervasive mental health concerns has lead us to engage in coping skills that are just not working for us. I am here to tell you that life can be different.

My practice was created to be a safe haven for autistic adults navigating their identities in today's world. Ever since discovering my own neurodivergence as an adult, I've become passionate about understanding autistic ways of being and have since made a career out of counseling, advocacy, and research to support my community. With the diversity of the autistic community, I also work with the many overlapping identities (e.g., LGBTQIA+, ENM, and kink) and co-occurring conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, and trauma) that are salient for those on the spectrum.

It can be difficult to juggle multiple aspects of your life while still striving for the level of excellence that we push ourselves towards. Academics, athletics, careers, hobbies, and self-care vie for the time that we have and can lead you to feeling overwhelmed. Tyler looks to help ease those stressors of living up to a standard, which puts more pressure on you than real benefit. He helps his clients challenge those expectations to facilitate growth towards meeting goals that feel attainable. He reminds you to continue communicating with yourself healthily as you progress down that path.

I'm glad you are here! I believe that every individual has the ability to build resilience, drawing strength from both their challenges and successes. Together, we’ll explore your experiences through a lens of curiosity, compassion, and hope, focusing on your healing and growth. With over 5 years of experience working with diverse populations, including immigrant and refugee youth, I have developed a deep understanding of how trauma and mental health can be shaped by cultural factors. This allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds in a way that feels respectful and empowering.
