Hello, my name is Amanda Vanlaningham, LPCC, LIMFT and I am a professional counselor and family therapist. I have experience in working with families, adults and individuals in the treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, grief, and PTSD since 2014. I strive to meet my clients where they are as well as supporting them on their journey to reaching their personal goals through skill building, insight, and increasing self-awareness.
I also have extensive experience in working with children and adolescents using evidenced-based treatment of oppositional and disruptive behaviors, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and abuse. I believe in supportive parenting and feel caregiver involvement in the therapeutic process is beneficial and encouraged.
I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and continue on a path of leading a peaceful and healthy life.
