Considering therapy is not an easy choice - taking that first step and reaching out for help is an even harder decision. I am glad you are here and are wanting to make a positive change in your life. I have significant experience in substance abuse, as well as anxiety and depression. As a therapist, I prefer to go at the pace of my clients. I am here to support you in what you need and I think that meeting you where you are at is crucial. I will not work harder than you, but will work alongside you. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you and hope to be there to see your growth as an individual. :)
I have been working in the field of Substance Abuse for over 8 years. I have worked with a variety of clients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Along with my substance abuse experience, I have direct clinical experience working with adolescents (12+), teenagers, and adults addressing mental health issues.
I am very open-minded and non-judgmental. My goal is to make every client feel comfortable while doing one of the hardest things we, as humans, have to do - ask for help. I am an ally - LGBTQ+. The world is hard enough on us - let's support each other <3
