My passion is to work with those who are experiencing symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, and trauma. Maybe it’s that you struggle remembering things or feel you should be able to do more. Maybe you feel a pressure to keep pushing and achieving to a higher level. You can’t quite seem to say no to everything, so your schedule is full and there’s no room to breathe. Things keep feeling heavier and heavier. We all need some extra help to organize and unravel our stories. I am passionate about supporting people in their healing journey. Through life’s challenges and circumstances, we adapt and develop strategies that help us cope and meet our needs. These protective strategies make sense and are successful until they no longer support us in a way that is helpful. Pain and trauma may continue to keep us stuck in patterns or limit us to certain roles that are not a true reflection of all of who we are.

Children and teenagers often undergo hard changes in their lives that they have little to no control over. Perhaps it is a change due to divorce, loss of a loved one, abuse or problems with peers and school. These difficulties can cause big behaviors that seem overwhelming to kids and cause concerns for their parents. However challenging, these behaviors provide insight into the child’s need for support which can be provided through individual and family counseling. In sessions, clients are engaged in play therapy and given a creative space to process their experiences. Parent consultation is also utilized to support family goals.
