Have you experienced the benefit of traditional talk therapy in the past, but are ready to go deeper into your healing? Many of my clients want to not just cope out of their triggers effectively, but also address the core wounds that are often the root of self-destructive behaviors, including addiction, codependency, dysfunctional relationships, and anxiety. These behaviors are often defenses in order to avoid feeling the hurt that happened long ago.
I also love working with therapy 'newbies', who come in wanting to understand why they do what they do and have a better relationship with themselves and others!

Sometimes life has a way of making us feel like we are alone in our pain. Whether you are trying to cope with a past trauma, wrestling with a current problem, or worried about the future, you are not alone. The road to hope and healing often begins with a single step. If you are ready to take that step, I would be honored to walk beside you.

Thoreau said "There are a thousand hacking at the branches to every one striking at the root." In therapy, I believe our most valuable work is striking at the root of issues rather than hacking merely at the many branches/symptoms of the root. This latter approach often leads to resolving one manifestation of a problem only to experience new manifestations down the road. Whether the symptoms are anxiety, depression, addictions, or maladaptive relationships, it is worthwhile to examine the deeper sources of our pain. One of my primary roles will be to provide a steadfast ground of compassion, patience, and truth for your work.

You or your teen may be struggling with emotional regulation, life transitions, maintaining healthy relationships, or unprocessed trauma. It’s normal to feel unsure about what to do next or who to turn to. What you’re looking for is relief, support, and practical tools to cope—and you’re not alone.

You may be feeling stuck, burned out, or carrying experiences that still weigh on you. Anxiety, depression, trauma, or moral injury may be affecting your sense of direction, relationships, or confidence. Many of the people I work with are capable and responsible, yet feel disconnected from meaning or unsure why things no longer feel sustainable. You want relief, clarity, and a way forward that makes sense—not quick fixes or surface-level answers.

Life can be hard, and sometimes we need some extra help and support to get through those difficult times. Whether it's dealing with young children or teenagers, relationship or family issues, anxiety or depression, the challenges of college life or jobs, or the curve ball that life throws at us, it can be stressful to manage, and can be helpful to have someone outside of the situation to talk with.
