Hi, I’m Erica. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, and emotional ups and downs can leave you feeling drained, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that are hard to break. Therapy can help you better understand what you’re experiencing and create meaningful change.

My heartbeat has always been towards the hurting. I feel that my calling in life is to come alongside people in their darkest seasons of life to help them find clarity, peace, and strength. I have a passion for working with individuals of all ages who seek emotional healing and freedom. I am also particularly drawn to children, teens, and families and excel in treating families as a whole. If you feel lost, broken, confused, or numb, I want to assure you there is hope. I have been in the darkness before and there is a way out. I would be honored to help you find it.

As a therapist, my goal is for you to leave each session feeling like you accomplished something. Change is hard and therapy can be scary. Let me help. From the wise words of Shannon L. Alder, "Courage doesn't happen when you have all the answers. It happens when you are ready to face the questions you have been avoiding your whole life."

My counseling perspective is informed by the work of Carl Jung and the depth psychological traditions. This means I view the psyche as being filled with complexity and symbolism. Amidst this complexity and symbolism is an inherent tendency toward wholeness. In this approach, symptoms are understood as communications, not pathologies or failures. Dreams, images, and emotions are treated as meaningful. The unconscious is treated with respect, not force. Healing is a process of becoming more fully oneself. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken, but about engaging in an ongoing dialogue with the inner world.

If you’re ready to get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck, you’re not alone. Many people try weekly therapy and still feel caught in the same patterns, wanting deeper, lasting change. I offer trauma therapy and EMDR and Brainspotting intensives designed to help you process experiences at the root so your nervous system can finally settle and life can feel more steady. Intensives create focused space for meaningful progress, while still honoring the value of ongoing therapy when it’s helpful. And that’s exactly the kind of work I help clients do!

Making sense of life's troubles is challenging for all of us. Because we are fearfully and wonderfully made, all of us are unique and important. But we are also broken. And that brokenness can be spiritual, mental, or physical-likely a combination of all three. My goal as a counselor is to provide compassionate care for the whole person using the truths of the Bible and modern therapies to bring help and hope for life's difficulties.

If you’re here, something likely feels stuck — intrusive thoughts, persistent worry, emotional heaviness, or patterns that repeat despite your effort. You may function well on the outside while privately exhausted or discouraged. Suffering cannot always be avoided, but it does not have to define your life. Change is possible, and relief can begin sooner than you think. I integrate evidence based modalities such as EMDR, DBT, IFS, and ERP to help clients process trauma, reduce anxiety, and interrupt rigid cognitive and behavioral cycles. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and skills-based.
