My clients may begin therapy having clear goals in mind, or they may need help figuring out where to start. I aid my clients to determine their goals and make progress toward them, whether they are living with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and/or other disorders. Since 2015, I have held various roles that have allowed me to support clients by using techniques and interventions that vary based on the needs of my clients. My goal is to provide a place for my clients to be themselves without "masks" that they may wear outside of session, and I aim to work on their goals alongside them throughout the therapeutic process.

I believe in meeting a person where they are and standing by them while they determine where they want to be and how to get there. I have worked with adoptive and birth families, children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience with issues related to anxiety, aging, chronic illness, family of origin, and trauma. I believe in building a person up by helping them recognize their strengths and inner resources. It is a privilege to witness and take part in a person's transformation. My goal is to assist however possible and celebrate every success along the path of change.

Are you having trouble coping with the loss of a loved one or a challenging life event? Do you think "I should be over this by now?" Loss and other major life changes can leave you feeling angry, guilty, confused, lonely, and sad. If not addressed in a healthy manner, these feelings can then lead to depression, anxiety, and stress, causing even bigger problems in life. Grieving the loss of a loved one and navigating difficult transitions can be some of the most challenging tasks in life. We don’t always have the proper tools to handle these challenges alone. Life happens and a lot can happen in life. I want to help.

Are you feeling trapped, hopeless, like things won't get better? Whatever challenge you are facing, you do not have to go through it alone. Too often, people shy away from counseling, but you would be amazed by the positive impact it can have on your life. I am here to support and encourage you, not to tell you what to do. No one is exempt from problems, but how an individual responds to that problem is key to resolving the issue and helps decrease symptoms such as anxiety and depression, which may come with an unwelcome situation. I am licensed to provide services in Alabama, Michigan, Kentucky, and South Carolina.

I'm not currently taking new clients. If you're dealing with intense emotions, feelings of abandonment, unstable relationships, impulsivity and possibly self-damaging behaviors, difficulties in controlling anger, feelings of emptiness, moodiness, stress, paranoia, and even suicidal ideation - I can help. I help clients every day who have a history of trauma and who really struggled to deal with other people and with communicating effectively. I help those who are really in need of making life changes and those who are just in search of understanding. I help couples who want to strengthen their relationships. I can help you.
