Anxiety and overwhelm leaves us feeling depleted, disconnected from ourselves and even from those we love most. You want to feel more calm and at peace, confident in who you are and in the steps you are taking day to day, but worry and self-doubt is robbing you of the confidence that one anchored you to yourself and to others. You know that there have been times when these feelings did not take center stage, but along the way you forgot what that felt like and you have begun to feel stuck.

As a therapist, David’s role is to create a space where individuals can do the work it takes to move toward wholeness.

My primary focus is supporting mothers experiencing anticipatory grief, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and infant loss, along with the complex emotions and life changes that accompany these experiences. You've spent years showing up for everyone else. Now you're in a season where the ground beneath you is shifting. The 40s, 50s, and 60s bring real change — evolving relationships, career pivots, empty nest, hormonal and health changes — but underneath all of it is something deeper: a woman reclaiming herself. Therapy can be the space where you finally get to explore that, without rushing, minimizing, or pretending you're "fine."
You don't have to figure this out alone.

Telling your struggles takes a great deal of courage. I have been inspired by the journeys we are all required to take. Carl Jung stated, "who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." In my work I help individuals begin the healing process to reclaim the power that has been lost., and in building coping skills. This involves the risk of examing who you are, where you come from, and where you hope to go. I specialize in chemical addiction, sexual addiction, families, and couples. I also have extensive experience with men's issues, including relationship coaching, shame reduction, and relapse prevention.

Seeking counseling is a very personal decision. Finding the right provider can be the most important step in the healing process. I believe I have helped so many clients because I use an array of tools and methods which I tailor to a client's unique goals. My approach is to work hard to understand a client's perspective and values. Sometimes this means helping the client explore and discover what that is for themselves. I lead AND follow - I may prompt, encourage, and confront, but I follow a client's pace (willingness and readiness) to delve into the issues. I honor & respect a client's culture, values, and belief systems.
