I feel it’s important for clients to learn skills & strategies to help change unhealthy thinking/behavioral patterns and to manage stress and emotions effectively. Learning how to regulate emotional reactivity, as well as breaking destructive cycles will reduce unwanted behaviors and improve one’s overall mental health, functioning and sense of well-being.
I'm a Provisional Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the process of attaining full licensure. I'm trained in PIT, which describes how childhood trauma (abuse & neglect) plays a major role in the development of one’s life. I have training in CBT, Schema Therapy, DBT-Informed and CFT. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, codependency, depression, addiction & trauma.
