When we grow up in a rejecting environment, we grow up feeling unseen, unheard, and unsupported. A lot of times, adversity and/or trauma can make us feel like we are alone and there is no where to turn. Therapy can be a great place to look in the mirror and see how you can make changes in your life and improve. Therapy can allow us to get the help from someone who has the training and experience to help us work through the barriers we have to go from surviving to thriving.
Telehealth only at this time. I have training in EMDR to help individuals work through trauma, anxiety, and depression. I am also currently training in NARM for treating complex trauma. I am able to provide psychoeducation and skill building in ways that make it easy for people to understand.
