Hello, Im Mary Joye, a solution-focused therapist, which is exactly as it sounds. We seek solutions instead of solely focusing on the problem. If you're stuck, stressed, depressed, anxious, have relationship issues or have experienced a trauma or life changing event, there is help and hope. Anxiety, trauma and panic symptoms can be relieved. You can learn to recognize and neutralize triggers and emotional reactivity. Post-traumatic growth is possible as we make connections between the past and present to give you a better future. I worked in my father's psychiatric practice and with a neuropsychologist and learned you can retrain your brain.
There are many ways to positively process issues with traditional cognitive behavioral therapy. Expressive arts and guided imagery are also available to you. I'm also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Life Coach and Florida Supreme Court Family Mediator.
