Hello! My name is Ariel and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I received a Bachelors in Psychology in 2009 from University of Central Florida. In 2015, I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and work with individuals who struggle with disordered eating, eating disorders and diet culture. I have been trained in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (EX/RP, ERP) for OCD. I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression and addiction.
My experience has taught me that one of the most valuable aspects of therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. I understand that it is not easy to open up to a stranger. It is important for me to provide a safe environment for us to build a trusting relationship.
