In an Art Therapy session, clients use art media (paints, clay, pastels) in the creative process, and their resulting artwork to explore their feelings, foster creativity and self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. No prior artistic experience is necessary.
