I help professional men who feel depressed and anxious because they have experienced trauma. Men who are having relationship difficulties and feel uncertain about what they want in their lives. By exploring in-depth the function of their depression and anxiety we can understand the underline issues and challenge those cognitive distortions. So, the change not only happens cognitively but also with bodily awareness.
My therapeutic style encompasses extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic, and Somatic Experiencing with a strong emphasis on Mindfulness and compassion which honors each client where they are in their life journey. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and healthy relationships.
