I am a eclectic counselor/psychotherapist with post doctoral training as a neurotherapist. Graduating from the University of Florida with a Specialist and Doctorate in counseling, I have been in private practice for over twenty five years treating relationship issues, issues of adolescents and young adults, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and a neurotherapy focus on Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Hello! My goal as a counselor is to offer support to children and their families during difficult times. I use play and creative interventions to help children and adolescents make sense of their worlds and express themselves. I help clients identify their feelings and express their needs in their own way and then work with people in the child’s life (ex: family and teachers) to help them continue to express themselves outside of the playroom.
