Welcome and congratulations on considering couples therapy! I primarily work with couples who are highly motivated, and ready to actively work on their relationship. Many of the couples I work with are stressed, struggle with communicating, and may even be close to ending their relationship. I also work with couples who are interested in enhancing an already stable relationship. The couples I work with are seeking hands-on direction, support, and tools to improve their communication and connection.
The program I offer to couples includes an initial assessment, a 2 hour intake to identify treatment goals, followed by regularly scheduled sessions, and work assigned between sessions to support the goals. I use the evidenced-based Gottman Method to facilitate interventions that improve communication and build intimacy.
It takes a lot of courage to seek help, and I strive to create safety and comfort. It is my hope that we can work together to identify your strengths and apply those skills to what you are going through right now.
