I received a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Florida and have 10 + years’ experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Most of my experience is dealing with women’s issues and how voice is found in a paternalistic society. I use a Family Systems lens as we bring our family with us even when we come as individuals. In my work with clients, I create a space of openness and acceptance as to what is present in the client’s life. I believe that clients have an innate ability to create healing for themselves, and I shepherd that process.

The desire to be successful is normal and often can feel difficult to achieve. We all would like to feel happy, loved, and to accomplish our goals. Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and transitions in life are things everyone experiences. Life is challenging. Building and creating a successful life is difficult when you do not have the proper skills. As adolescents and women we are faced with a unique set of expectations and issues. Those with the added responsibilities of being a parent or educator may struggle to manage the complex issues this generation is facing and benefit from additional emotional support.
