I am passionate about working with people who encounter stress & unwanted patterns of behavior that interfere with their individual, relational and career aspirations. In addition to my work with individuals who are facing distress from depression & anxiety, I have specific training & experience helping couples & partners dealing with relational distress resulting from problematic sexual behaviors, including facilitating therapeutic disclosures and leading betrayal trauma groups. I also work with older adolescents & adults suffering with body image issues & disordered eating. Parent coaching is another area of expertise.
My therapeutic approach is tailored to the needs of clients and draws from cognitive and dialectic behavior therapies, as well as client-centered, interpersonal therapies that are insight-oriented. I am a fully trained EMDR therapist, certified Gottman Level 1 couples counselor and work with those who consider faith to be an integral part of their worldview.

Spouses of Addicts Rebuilding and Healing - Spouses groups are a vital part of Capstone Intimacy and Sexual Recovery. Upon discovery of sexual addiction, spouses develop many trauma symptoms. It is an overwhelming feeling of grief and pain. Spouses of sex addicts can heal, regardless of what the addict in their life chooses to do. Spouses groups provide a safe space for healing to take place.
