I have always enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and their families. As a licensed psychologist, I currently specialize in the comprehensive assessment of intellectual disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and anxiety for children through age 7 years. It is important for me that there is family, school, and child involvement in the assessment process in order to gather as much information as possible to best support the families in which I see. I enjoy working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds and circumstances. I value the importance of working with the family as a whole, no matter the presenting concern, as in my experience family support has been a salient factor in a more positive prognosis for the identified client/patient and subsequently his or her family.
I use a holistic approach, making sure to cover all aspects of a child's world in order to figure out what may be contributing to his or her challenges. I follow my families post assessment, often providing follow up and consultation visits to monitor progress and a child's response to interventions.
