I bring 10 years experience working with teens and adults in residential (a live-in facility that provides long-term treatment and 24-hour supervision) and community settings. I have experience working with severe disorders such as Bi-Polar Disorder, Borderline, Schizophrenia, Depression, and PTSD. I primarily use CBT and DBT to challenge your thinking and teach you new skills to replace behaviors that no longer serve you. Be prepared to be pushed into areas you may normally avoid or have your beliefs examined to determine if they serve you currently.
I get to the heart of the matter which often is trauma. Using Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems interventions, I help you heal from your past that you thought were long forgotten. Then I turn my attention to helping you resolve patterns of behavior that are getting in your way. All of this is done with no judgement and lots of laughter along the way.
