My ideal client is a teen or adult that is struggling to figure out what they are missing. They are realizing that life's challenges seem harder for them than they are for others. They may be having challenges with their personal relationships. They may be feeling unable to complete tasks they used to accomplish easily. They may be feeling depressed and anxious. I specialize in working with late-identified autistic teens and adults, as well as teens and adults with ADHD. I also have experience and enjoy working with folks that experience depression, anxiety, substance use challenges, trauma, and/or PTSD symptoms.

If you find yourself constantly overthinking, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or repeating the same painful patterns despite your best efforts, you're not alone. You may wonder why certain experiences still affect you, even years later. The truth is that the past doesn't simply disappear—it can continue to influence your emotions, relationships, and sense of self until it is processed and healed. Change is possible, and you don't have to navigate that journey by yourself. If you're struggling with the effects of childhood experiences, relationship wounds, grief, anxiety, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can help.

Everyone has moments in life that feel overwhelming, chaotic, or impossibly heavy. One of my strengths as a therapist is the ability to stay grounded and present with clients during difficult conversations and painful experiences without becoming overwhelmed by them. You do not have to minimize what you’re carrying or worry about being “too much.”

Therapy can be a place to practice showing up in new ways, with yourself and with others. Together, we might work on building confidence, shifting patterns that hold you back, living more in line with your values, finding greater balance and self-compassion, or learning communication skills that actually fit you.
I work with teens (14+) and adults navigating anxiety or trauma. I especially love supporting fellow LGBTQ folks, neurodivergent people, "nerds", theater kids (past, present, or simply at heart), and anyone who has ever felt “weird” or left out.

Mindful, gentle, supportive, intuitive. You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, and frustration or find yourself turning to unhealthy behaviors for relief and escape from uncomfortable feelings. You may also be struggling to be free of the devestating effects of past trauma. Or you may have a knowing that there is a freer, stronger, and more joyful you that has just seemed to remain out of reach, despite your good efforts. Through mindfulness attention and somatic awareness, that which was previously "in the way" becomes our doorway to healing, clarity, peace, joy, and the ability to realize our personal and life goals.

My ideal client is one who is searching for a deeper understanding of themselves as well as their relationships with the meaningful people in their world. Understanding the complexities of interpersonal dynamics is key to having healthy relationships with oneself, as well as others. My goal as a therapist is to create an atmosphere in which it is comfortable to explore old wounds as well as current interpersonal dynamics. In this work, it is my hope that insight will replace confusion as we embark on the road to a healthy and fulfilling life.

Life is challenging, sometimes it can feel like we aren’t made for the pace that is asked of us in today’s world. The result can feel like disconnect, overwhelm, or even depression and anxiety. Therapy can help. It is clear to me in my work, and in my own life, that once we start paying attention to our pain, we can do something about it. Having a guide in that process can make it simpler and more effective. Everyone is unique and as individuals what we need can take time to uncover and incorporate into our daily lives.

You know the problem. You care. You may even understand why things happen the way they do. Yet it still feels the same inside you, or between you and a family member or partner.
Therapy with me goes beyond talking about the problem and into what's happening in real time. We slow things down enough to catch the moment an urge to react, withdraw, or fix begins. Together, we gently turn toward what's happening inside you, so somesthing different can begin.

I enjoy working with clients who are ready to unravel the unhelpful patterns—like stress, anxiety, or relationship hurdles—that might be weighing them down. I enjoy helping adults and young adults cultivate a practical toolkit for managing life’s pressures, using evidence-based approaches that feel manageable and real.
In our sessions, you’ll find a space that is present, transparent, and deeply relational. I lean into trust and collaboration, often with a touch of humor, because I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a partnership between two authentic humans.

You’re carrying the weight of emotional pain, self-doubt, and systemic harm — the daily exhaustion of navigating a world that often feels unsafe, invalidating, and unkind. You may be struggling with fear and stress tied to being marginalized, financial instability, oppression, political violence, aggressive immigration enforcement, or threats to your family’s, friend's and communities safety.

I work with individuals & couples using the principles of Buddhist psychology that include mindfulness, awareness, embodiment (somatic presence), compassion, and living an ethical life. To this end, clients become curious about their unhealthy impulses, thoughts, and actions that lead to suffering in the form of harm to self and others, Similarly, clients learn to create the skillful conditions for inner peace, happiness, and compassion that lead to living your life with a deeper felt self of ease, purpose, and connection with self and others that support wellbeing, authenticity, and love.

Relationships, and creative expression may be difficult for you. Yet intimacy and being fully expressed is what you long for. Many of my clients did not learn in their family of origins that they were allowed to be themselves, or have a voice. You may still be learning how to be with your emotions, respond to stressors, and navigate a relational world. The complicated life circumstances of adulthood may feel overwhelming for you, resulting in even more disconnection and isolation. As a sensitive person you may struggle with transitions, overstimulation, anxiety, avoidance, stuck-ness, and dysregulation in your closest relationships.

Are you living in ways you know aren't serving you, but you're unsure how to change? Perhaps you feel stuck in patterns of thinking or acting that hurt yourself or others around you, and you're struggling to find a way out. Or you might feel that your sense of self worth is dependent on what you do, and despite being a high achiever, you still feel like you're never good enough. Maybe you struggle with your sensitivity and experience repetitive and painful relationship patterns, or an inner conflict about what you want and how to move forward. If any of this sounds like you, you're in the right place.

I have seen the powerful effect on people's lives when they begin to unhook from their self-criticism and open themselves up to self-compassion. Often the roots of depression, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, difficulty navigating relationships, and self-judgment are in a history of trauma and chronic invalidation. I help people recognize these roots while also staying mindful in the present. My years as a clinician and my own lived experience as a human have taught me how important validation and finding a space to move through difficult emotions are, particularly when your perception of the world doesn’t match the norm.

Sometimes who we think we are "supposed" to be and who we are in our truth don't always line up causing anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships and career. Recognizing and allowing the true self to emerge is empowering and challenging. I will work collaboratively with you to discover this truth and build skills and refine strategies to support you along the journey - uncovering your strengths, your desires and empowering your True self. We will chat, move, breathe, and write. The body is the anchor -sometimes we forget how wise and rich it is. We will see if we can rediscover this truth. I think we can.

Merely fixing a problem depends on planning. Dissolving our habits requires presence.
I don’t believe your struggles are a mistake or even rooted in a discoverable cause. I focus on how we can stay at the evolving edge of your psychological ecosystem and pay attention to information we find there through nonverbal awareness, dreams, images, and other access points for unconscious material and structure that with cognitive awareness into effective change. Sometimes therapy is a warm blanket, and sometimes it's more like physical therapy, stretching reflexes and habits into new territory.

I love helping people & couples rediscover themselves. Sometimes it feels like we get lost along the way, buried in the needs of relationships or caregiving. We become what others have wanted or needed and when it gets to the breaking point, we find we don't even know what we want or need to feel whole again.
I have many years of working with people starting over. Often the grief of what was and the anxiety of what comes next can make it hard to listen to your own voice. Through learning to quiet internal activation bells and strip away the judgements inherited from others, I work with clients to redefine what is important.
