Welcome! I work in helping folks to address complex trauma, problems in relationships, and building self-esteem and authenticity in life. It is completely natural to struggle and experience difficulties. Sometimes these difficulties come from experiencing traumatic events, managing difficult relationships, and even feeling as if we do not know ourselves and what we really want out of life. I specialize in trauma, particularly attachment and relationship traumas that can occur early in childhood or in our adult romantic relationships and even friendships.

Talking about intimacy issues can be challenging and intimidating. I take every measure to create a calm and comfortable environment for us to talk in a matter-of-fact way. I work with people who would like to: experience more satisfaction in their intimate life; learn how to talk more comfortably to their partner about sexuality, sensuality, and intimacy; address a sexual problem that is causing concern in their life or relationship; receive help connecting with their partner in the bedroom; and explore ways to bring more pleasure to their partner.

People generally seek counseling because where they are is not where they want to be. Moving from one place to the other can only happen if changes are made. I focus on creating a trusting and safe environment with an emphasis on collaboration to help ensure that the process to change, though possibly difficult and even painful, is ultimately rewarding and lasting. My focus is on treating you as an individual with unique needs and goals and I will work with you to develop strategies for change based on the information you bring to each session.

My ideal clients are professionals in demanding careers large and small business who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, or loss while trying to maintain high performance. They come to me overwhelmed by triggers, nightmares, and intrusive thoughts that disrupt their sleep, cloud their thinking, and drain their energy. What they want is relief from the constant fight/flight response that's affecting their work, relationships, and quality of life. Their goal is to function optimally again—to think clearly, sleep peacefully, and feel confident in both personal and professional settings while building a more meaningful future.

You’ve worked hard to build the career and life you have today. To others, you look accomplished, capable, and dependable. But on the inside, you’re completely drained – emotionally and physically exhausted from life’s demands. The pressure to always perform has left you stuck in cycles of over-functioning, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Everyone counts on you, but you feel increasingly disconnected from yourself – unsure of who you are outside of work, responsibilities, and the never-ending daily grind. You’re tired of just pushing through and surviving. You want to get back in touch with what YOU want and need from this life.

Shaming or punishing ourselves rarely motivates us to change what needs changing, and yet we persist in this pattern. What if there's an alternative to this cycle? What if you could get to know, accept and understand yourself in a deep and self-supportive way, get free from unhelpful rumination and beliefs (all this "thinking") and engage in real-life, concrete actions that align with who you truly want to be, and the life you want to be living? What if you discovered that the life you want to be living is, in some ways, already available to you right now? Would you be willing to try something new?

High-achieving men often find that the same drive that fuels their success makes it harder to slow down and connect when it matters most. You might be navigating relationship strain, workplace pressure, or the isolation of leadership. You're managing stress while maintaining a demanding career. Your loved ones want you more present, but you're stuck in constant task mode. You excel professionally but feel burned out, disconnected, or like something vital is missing.

As a person who may be looking to work through something personal, trying to figure out something about themself, would like to achieve a personal goal, or just simply needing someone to talk to, allowing someone to be a part of that journey is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves to be able to make the successes that we want to see come true. Imagine having someone that provides just what you need to help find what you were looking for. Once connecting with that person, you find yourself changing, growing, finding out new things about yourself.
