I genuinely care about helping people to reach their potential and discover contentment. With 35 years of experience and numerous training workshops, I have many tools and skills to call upon. I focus on both short term stress/career issues and adults from neglectful/ abusive families. and I am compassionate and nurture my client's inner strength until they can believe in themselves. I seek individuals who are willing to work on the relationship, fear, addiction trauma or life transition that is blocking their personal joy in life. I work with women and men of all races and sexual orientations.
My l training includes Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Cognitive, and Movement therapy. The therapeutic relationship is sacred. It facilitates and supports a willingness to engage and make changes. I work with emotional issues, releasing pain, growing self-esteem, and modifying thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I have significant training in relationship, sexual issues, addictions, depression, and anxiety.
While maintaining professional boundaries, my clients know that I care about them. I am intuitive and listen to my gut feelings.
I am down-to-earth, listen, and and interact, offering direction, information, support, and interpretation. I use specific methods and strategies for each person including the body-breath,movement and awareness of self.
