Sometimes we find ourselves submerged in complicated feelings that are confusing and scary. This becomes a window into some of the core truths of our inner lives, of internalized relationships, longings, and past experiences. I accompany people through an exploration of this inner life and provide a supportive space to move through stuck points, process issues towards closure, and emerge to more genuinely appreciate your life and relationships.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-focused. It is based primarily in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. Above all, it values compassion, intuition, creativity, and the significant ways that power and privilege influence our lives.
I am responsive to context—particularly to the impacts of racism, sexism, transphobia and ableism—and I believe that therapy ought to be a part of breaking these internalized cycles of oppression. Reach out through my website if you'd like to work together.
