Todd approaches his clients with honesty and sincerity believing that the only difference between him and the people he serves is a matter of circumstance. Todd treats children, adolescents, and families with a variety of emotional and behavioral concerns including trauma, relationships difficulties (parent/child), depression, and anxiety.
He specializes in using Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness to guide his clients through the healing process. In addition, he works comfortably with clients who would appreciate the delivery of CBT and play therapy within the context of their spiritual/religious world-view.
He does not believe in a one size fits all type of therapy. He works to understand the uniqueness of you and your family, and tailors’ therapy to fit your needs. Todd has been in the field for over 20 years. He is a Registered Play Therapist with a certification in TF-CBT. He is currently licensed in North Carolina and Virginia.
