Life --- sometimes it has a way of beating us down. Often it may seem that it's just not worth the effort. I've been there! But what I want you to know is that "Your Life Matters" no matter what the situation looks or feels like. Whether it's depression, trauma, grief or loss, I can help you develop strategies to overcome whatever challenges you face. Having grown up in the 1960's and 70's, I've been through some "stuff". But, I wouldn't change a thing, because that stuff has equipped me to better help others.
Because I'm married to a Vietnam Veteran and have served as an Army Social Work Officer, I have keen insight into the visible and invisible wounds of war. I specialize in PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger and marital conflict. I'm particularly sensitive to individuals experiencing grief and loss.
I'm a mature, seasoned Clinical Social Worker who uses a variety of therapeutic approaches. I listen not only with my ears, but also with my heart and spirit. The practice is located in a home like setting that is calm, relaxing, and non-threatening.

We are a small group of licensed behavioral health professionals who do our best to help people get through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Our practice is not about money, it's about mission. Our mission is to help clients identify, use and hone the skills they already have and hopefully, learn some new ones. We use the most up-to-date evidence based approaches, along with some of the most time tested and proven Christian principles. We have a sliding scale and in some cases offer pro-bono services.
